Style Notes: Piper Ratliff from The White Lotus
maybe the person with the most polarizing style of the season
Season 3 of The White Lotus just wrapped up a week and half ago and I’m so sad it’s over! I really enjoyed this past season from the beginning to the end but I know there were mixed reviews. What did you think?
In a season full of loud luxury, I immediately spotted (and adored) Piper’s more understated and classic style. She was definitely a DÔEN, Hill House, Ciao Lucia, Ralph Lauren girlie. Piper’s wardrobe has been extremely polarizing, with some people loving her elegant, whimsical, yet laid back style and others, well, referring to her as a Victorian ghost child or Wendy from Peter Pan. Personally, my style is very much aligned with Piper’s so I’m choosing to ignore those allegations.
Let’s take a look at a few components that make her style what it is and where you can shop the look for yourself.
….and, yes, many of these pieces come from my own spring/summer wishlist.

Sailor Style
While I wouldn’t necessarily call Piper’s style overly trendy, this aspect of her wardrobe is very much on trend.

How cute are these two tops from Damson Madder? I could imagine Piper pairing them with a midi skirt (see below). I’ve had the white long-sleeved one on my wishlist for a few months and recently just saw that it came in a red short sleeve version as well.
This mini sailor dress is the perfect addition for any summer wardrobe!
Another mini option from DÔEN!
A cute top for under $100 that would be easy to throw on with denim shorts, a skirt or linen trousers!
“Dressing like Wendy”
Piper loves midi-lengths, natural fabrics like cotton and linen, and whimsical touches to her outfits like the flutter sleeve featured in this Ciao Lucia dress that she wore.
This midi skirt is one of the pieces that immediately came to mind when I thought about what else would be included in Piper’s wardrobe.
You can’t tell me that Piper wouldn’t love a nap dress.
Quince has their own version that’s less than $100! The best part? It comes in 11 different colors.

These tops are always in my cart!
This butter yellow dress is true to Piper’s style while still being trendy for 2025.
Blue and White Florals
Blue and white seem to be two colors that Piper reaches for often. Blue and white floral prints tend to give off a soft and ethereal vibe which is probably what she was attempting to represent.
A sweetheart neckline seems to be right up Piper’s alley.
A gorgeous and comfy midi dress for spring/summer. How perfect would this be for vacation!?
How dreamy is this Christy Dawn dress?
Embroidered Accents

Embroidered accents made their way into Piper’s wardrobe more than once!
This embroidered top would fit into her wardrobe perfectly (and maybe even the matching shorts).
This top is so precious.
A perfect summer top that would be easy to pack for vacation!
White Eyelet, Embroidery and Lace
The initial outfit we were introduced to Piper in which definitely gave us a hint at what to expect from wardrobe throughout (most) of the season.
An adorable mini dress on sale for $58.
This matching set is such a fun moment! Both pieces are so versatile.

I could easily see Piper in any of these pieces from the spring Sezane collection.

Love this! It’s funny because I absolutely loved the third season of WL but was also bored by it. I love when so many people are watching the same show and the acting/ writing/ cinematography were are all excellent, but the story was a little predictable this time. I only have one Ciao Lucia piece— a yellow dress! They make the most stunning pieces. Love the Doen mini and I have that Dôen midi skirt!
