Happy Friday! With Valentine’s Day being next week, I’ve decided to make this week’s Friday Favorites focused around that, because, well, I love a good theme. Plus, I’m throwing a Galentine’s wine night for a few friends tonight so I’m feeling a little extra festive.
Heart Shaped Jewelry That's Actually Cute
I know. I know. It can be hard to come by, and I’m sure most of us have been gifted those silver heart necklaces or rings in the past (*shudders*) (you know the ones I’m talking about) but I’m here to show you that there actually cute options out there. These earrings from Etsy are currently on my wishlist and so are these from Wolf & Badger.
The Color Pink
Maybe it’s the 2023 Barbie-effect, but I’m loving the color pink right now despite having very little of it in my own closet. I love this pink dress, if I was going to a wedding this year (that isn’t my own), this is probably the dress I would buy to wear to it. I’m also loving these suede heels and this cocktail ring.
Two Taylor Albums: Fearless & Lover
Fearless & Lover are the two Taylor Swift albums that scream “hopeless romantic” the most to me and I find myself listening to both of them often around this time of year into the spring.
An ultimate TS hopeless romantic playlist through the eras:
The New Sister Jane Dream Collection
Sister Jane recently released their new collection DREAM Delightful Things and I’m in love. The silhouettes, patterns, and colors are so fun! It’s the perfect collection for spring (which I’m counting down the days to) or a Valentine’s Day date. You can shop the new collection here.
Yearly Traditions
I LOVE yearly traditions. My fiancé and I have a few when it comes to holidays/special occasions - we go to Parc every year for our anniversary, we watch Love Actually on Christmas Eve, we throw an annual NYE party for our friends - and Valentine’s Day is no exception. The first year Derek and I spent Valentine’s Day together was in 2010 which is when the movie “Valentine’s Day” was released so we went to go see it in theaters…on Valentine’s Day (of course).
Fast forward 5 years later and the first Valentine’s Day we were living together we decided to stay in and rewatch that movie and make mimosas and breakfast for dinner and ever since then that’s what we do every year! We’ll usually go out for a nice meal the following Saturday which means we get both a cozy night in and a nice date night out for Valentine’s Day!
PS - If you haven’t seen Valentine’s Day the movie, I will warn you - it’s not exactly the best movie lol but it’s cheesy and cute! (AKA - perfect for Valentine’s Day).
A few other things I’ve had my eye on,
This pink cardigan with heart-shaped buttons is too cute!
Looking for a galentine’s gift? This painted hearts mug is perfect!
How adorable are these sheer heart-printed socks?
This sequin bralette would be so fun for a night out!

That’s all for this week! I hope you have a lovely weekend! <3
