Happy Friday! Can you believe we’re already in the second month of 2024? I can’t tell if January moved quickly or slowly, but regardless, I’m so happy that we’re making our way to longer and sunnier days. Spring will be here before we know it, right? In the meantime, I’m going to try and take advantage of the coziness of the winter season with movie dates (more on that below), getting through the rest of wedding planning (ah!), and making my way through my TBR pile (that’s another topic for another day).
Here are a few of my favorites from this week:
1. Bridal Bows
Veiled Bow Clip | Shiny Bow Veil | Wavy Chiffon Bow | Mini Bow Veil
As I’ve mentioned, I’m loving bows right now! It’s such a fun accessory and one that I think would really suit my personal bridal style. While I don’t think I would wear a bow on my actual wedding day, I’m thinking these could be cute for my bridal shower, bachelorette or even the rehearsal dinner.
2. Movie Dates
Movie nights are one of my favorite types of date nights. My partner and I frequently go to our local small movie theater that plays independent and foreign films, retro movies and documentaries. In fact, we go so often we plan on taking several of our wedding photos in front of the theater this September since it’s been one of our date night spots for 10+ years! In January we saw Poor Things (2023), Chinatown (1974), and Past Lives (2023); this month I’m hoping to see Anatomy of a Fall and All of Us Strangers.

3. Chanel S/S 2024 Haute Couture
TikTok was tearing apart the Chanel Couture show last week but to be honest, I…kind of loved it. I loved all of the tulle (I’m a sucker for tulle) mixed with the tweed workwear, the use of sheer fabric, the white tights with the black footwear - there were a lot of things I loved about it even if some of the looks were a miss! You can view the entire collection here.
4. This Paris Apartment
Artist, Sofia de Moser Leitao’s Paris home is so incredibly inspiring! Parisian charm meeting Portuguese vibrancy, this apartment is equally chic, colorful and cozy while being packed with personality. Be sure to check out her ceramics as well.
5. The Nova Flat by Matisse
One of my favorites is back in stock! The Nova Flat by Matisse has been on heavy rotation in my closet ever since I got a pair last summer. I always love a nice pop of red in any outfit. Lisa Says Gah has restocked these in red, white, gold, silver (I might need this pair too), black, and light pink (how balletcore).
A few other things I’ve had my eye on,
Speaking of wedding planning, I’m thinking about ordering this sequin dress for my bachelorette party.
And this dress for the rehearsal dinner. Although, I think a white suit could also be another option.
Another pair of silver shoes I’m loving.
And now that I’ve brought up balletcore…do I need this dancer skirt? Like I said, I love a pop of red.
How adorable is this polka dot top?
And that’s all for this week! <3
Love,
Chelsea

The Parisian apartment tour makes me miss my Philadelphia studio! I'm so impressed by what she did with 300 square feet, and how much she's got stored in there. Lovely!
